Brief description
L&M Sievänen Architects was established 1978 by Liisa Sievänen and Markku Sievänen.
In 1996 the office started full time architectural planning with 4 -6 employees.
Our main ideology is: FUNCTION – ARCHITECTURE - ECOLOGY.

Our architect’s office from 1996 is specialized designing old people’s homes and to do product-development with different companies and now we are also specialized to consult health care plannings.
Office has wan prizes in many architectural competitions especially concerning old people’s homes in Finland. Projects have been published in international books.
We are also specialized interior planning and planning of the green areas in our projects. We also do the first time equipment planning.
Our office project Wellfare Centre Onni has won the Finnish Barrier Free Prize in 2009 and Green Surrounding Prize in 2008.
