Philosophy
Our office is an open source system whose primary concerns is people and their needs. We try to find, through the sharing of knowledge and experience, the possibilities that architecture, design, art and urban space can offer to ordinary life.
We are witnessing a situation in which never before has been so much abandonment of our natural landscape , we are experiencing the decline of agriculture and a highly fragmented occupation of the territory which has led to heavier landscape destruction and a difficulty of maintaining it in a natural way.
Our work is about finding new relationships between human coexistence and nature, projects that through its impact and experience generate respect for the natural world, spaces of thinking and living. We have always worked on building a relation between inside and outside, it is the exterior landscape which organizes our interior spaces. Working with nature is a way of working towards the understanding of our world. Another aspect that we find particularly interesting is the way we register the concept of time. Turning space into time is a primary feature in all our projects, seeing reality as it changes and time as it goes by. We continuously try to materialize light in an attempt to sense time – an important emotional quality.
Our objective is to combine a high-level interdisciplinary methodological process that combines technical support, architectural design and art, recognizing the contributions of these disciplines to the idea of a territorial rebalancing project, which ultimately is what configures our landscape, and ensures a quality of the environment.
