Brief description
love – architecture & urbanism was founded in Graz (Austria) in 1997 and is being managed by three associates (Mark Jenewein, Herwig Kleinhapl, Bernhard Schönherr). Since its foundation, the team is heavily engaged in developing and realizing intelligent and innovative solutions for architectural and urban concepts.
The team has already realized projects in Austria, Japan (WEBASTO Headquarter, Hiroshima), USA, South-Korea (Masterplan Silver World) and Germany (Baufeld 10, HafenCity, Hamburg), won a number of competitions (i.e. Masterplan Silver World; Shopping Center Alpenstrasse, Salzburg (A); Hotel complex Grand Holiday, Blumau (A); Baufeld 10, HafenCity Hamburg (D), Shopping Center Gerngross (A)), has been awarded several prizes (i.e. Styrian Art Prize 1999; Among the Top Ten Austrian Architects 2002-2006), and has been invited to take part in international competitions (i.e. European Central Bank (ECB), Frankfurt (D); Masterplan HafenCity, Hamburg; Adidas World of Sports, Herzogenaurach (D); Museum for African Art Southbank Wings (ZA); Shopping Center Kumasi (GH); GTB Manila (RP) as well as Exhibitions (i.e. Biennale Venice 2004, Sculptural architecture in Austria – China 2006) and lectures.
Since 2003 the brandfield – built identity® development company is being managed by the same owners. brandfield develops brand, marketing, experimental and identity strategies for real estates.
