Architect's statement
This house is located in Kyoto, Japan. Kyoto is the most historical in Japan. So we designed the modern town house of reinforced concrete and steel in contrast to the traditional Japanese town house of wood.
This house has the characteristic façade with wooden sliding door, small courtyard which have brought wind, light and shadow to this house, like traditional Japanese town house.
