This is a project by DPWT Design and it is located at Tsuen Wan, NT, Hong Kong. Project's program: Interior design of cinema theater. There are ten images for GH Citywalk Cinema.
Hong Kong has many cinemas, however, most of them are located in CBD, and Golden Harvest Cinemas commit to provide cinema services to the public. As Tsuen wan, the last MTR station in Hong Kong, is a residential area, the vicinity is crowded with shopping malls, providing a best condition for a cinema, the design style trends to be comfort-oriented and stylish, instead of offering a luxury environment.
Cinema is an artistic industry with lot of happening. DPWT was commissioned to design GH Citywalk Cinema. The extensive white tempered glass and changing colours LED lighting interior creating a colourful ambience, creating a versatile atmosphere.
A curved wall guide all cinema goers to the internal cinema hall, the 4 number 65 inches TV on such wall providing the latest movie trailers and seating information to the patrons. The 103 inches TV with varied colours sofas in the waiting lounge turn such space into a private cinema hall. The sculptural wall adds a flavour of artistic touch to this trendy area.
Ticket Box and Candy bar are designed in accordance with Golden Harvest’s standard while the ceiling is installed with numerous LED lights flickering like the stars in the sky and creates a romantic atmosphere.
To build up the identity, the 5 cinema houses adopt individual house colours: red, orange, green, blue, and purple as manifested in the acoustic wall panels. The pattern is like a digital graphical picture, resembling the arrival of digital age.
