Designer's statement
Located in a dense residential area, this compact house has only a bathroom on its top floor. The middle level enjoys maximum ceiling height and great luminosity due to the presence of a large skylight. The ground level fully opens on a small courtyard.
The "jyubako" is a Japanese-type lunch box holding different kinds of food on several layers.
