A small plot of land perfectly oriented. A garden to look at. A simple system of sides solves the building. Built side — building, and empty side — accesses.
The volume is organized by a simple geometric scheme: Wet spaces side — servers, and dry spaces side — served, behind an exterior filter side with the environment.
This exterior side also has an exterior double path between all pieces leading onto it, increasing the connections between the different interior spaces of the building.
Everything is protected by a microperforated undulated thin sheet as an abstract plane that slides in front of the façade, speaking its own language. Reflecting, smooth, material during the day, and transparent, ethereal, immaterial at night.
It also controls the sunshine, filtering the light appropriately giving a veiled vision of the exterior. A recyclable material, durable, almost with no maintenance, that goes along with the idea of strict, clear and effective architecture.
Conceptually it toys with the idea of the possibility of façade transformation, depending on the moment of the day, the impact of external light or the emission of light from the interior, thus showing countless nuances at different hours.
Formally the building shows another of its strategies: The understanding of the façade as a thick wall, sliding on the wardrobes on the framework. These wardrobes become part of the façade, as elements of temperature, visual and sound protection, leaving the interior space free.
