Architect's statement
Two parallel directions are defined which aim at restoring an existent space through a cleaning operation and secondly to give significance and personality to the Square, devoted to the well known poet from Calatayud.
The former eliminates obstacles, benches and elements that contaminate the spacial clarity improving the illumination of the square by means of aerial lights hanging from cables which are anchored on the extremes of the square, increasing the cleanliness inside.
The latter consist of the construction - around the already existing trees - of flower beds densely populated with aromatic bushes and with references to the life and works of the poet Marcial as a tribute to him.
